BRP Modified Tour Returning To Ransomville Speedway In 2020
Story By: DAVE BUCHANAN / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – Ransomville Speedway will welcome back the stars and cars of the BRP Modified Tour on September 11, 2020, following a successful first visit by the series to the “Big R” this past season.
Last September, Gary Lindberg of Ridgeway, Ontario bested a star-studded field of Modifieds in the inaugural visit by the BRP Tour. Justin Haers, Chad Brachmann, Alan Johnson and James Sweeting rounded out the top five in that event. Rex King, Jr. placed eighth to lock up the 2019 BRP Modified Tour championship.
This addition to the 2020 schedule means that Modified racing will continue at the “Big R” in the final two weeks of the season once weekly DIRTcar points end for the Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds on Labor Day weekend. The Friday, September 11 program will also feature a Sportsman/Novice Sportsman shootout, Ki-Po Chevrolet Street Stocks and Mini Stocks.
