Outlawed 358-Modified Tour To Be Part Of Ransomville’s King Of The Hill In 2020

Story By: DAVE BUCHANAN / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – Even though it is the final race on the Ransomville Speedway schedule, the 2020 edition of the King of the Hill, which will take place on Friday, September 18, is quickly coming into focus.

The 358 Modifieds will be part of the King of the Hill for the second-straight season as the Outlawed Small Block Modified Tour out of Pennsylvania returns to the “Big R”. Last season, Phil Vigneri III claimed his first career Ransomville 358 Modified victory in the first ever visit by the Outlawed Small Block Tour, formerly known as the PA Modified Tour. The race featured a competitive mix of Ransomville regulars and invaders from the Keystone State.

The traditional 75-lap King of the Hill Street Stock race will also take place on Friday, September 18. Pete Stefanski added another KOTH win to his resume last season as he held off Canadian Dave Bailey to pick up the victory. The full slate of divisions taking part in the King of the Hill will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Track management is finalizing the details for several other special events for the upcoming season. Stay tuned to the Ransomville Speedway website and social media channels for the latest news.
