Story By: CAN-AM SPEEDWAY – LAFARGEVILLE, NY – Even though we are only two months into the “off season”, Can-Am Speedway management has been hard at work making plans for the 2020 racing season at the LaFargeville oval.

The biggest announcement to come out of the off season so far, is the plans to shorten the existing track to a size closer to 4/10’s of a mile. Track owner Tyler Bartlett will be going into his third year as owner of Can-Am and continues to make improvements to help make the competition better and a more exciting fan experience for the Can-Am fans.

Bartlett also announced this week that all four weekly classes will return in 2020, as well as a number of special events.

“We again plan to be under the DIRTcar banner with series races for the Big Block Modifieds, 358 Modifieds and Sportsman, as well as the always popular Empire Super Sprints” stated Bartlett.

Management is also talking with other groups about bringing some additional special events to Can-Am next season.
