Brock Zearfoss Highlights World Finals Trip With 11th Place Run Friday Evening

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Although the three-time All Star Circuit of Champions winner in 2019 missed World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series main event competition on Saturday to conclude his annual trip to Charlotte, the ‘Jonestown Jet’ Brock Zearfoss certainly put together an impressive campaign on Friday at The Dirt Track and finished 11th during feature action.

Zearfoss, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/No. 3Z sprint car, earned his way into Friday’s main event by finishing third during his respective heat race, and with six heat races on the agenda, a third place finish was just enough.

“We enjoy making the trip to Charlotte for the World Finals. It’s a fun way to end the season,” Brock Zearfoss explained, who ended his 2019 race schedule with four victories, one of which a URC triumph at Port Royal Speedway. “I can’t thank my team, my partners and my family enough for their hard work this season. We experienced a little bit of everything this year, but we hung tough and did a lot of great things. I’m already getting excited for 2020.”

With no plans to visit BAPS Motor Speedway for the annual Sprint Showdown on November 16, Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will begin rebuilding for 2020. Additional news and information regarding Zearfoss’ upcoming campaign will be posted in the near future.
