Time Trial Format Set For Albany-Saratoga’s “Malta Massive Weekend”
Story By: TOM BOGGIE / ALBANY-SARATOGA SPEEDWAY – MALTA, NY – Albany-Saratoga Speedway will be using a unique format for a set of time trials on Friday, Sept. 20 during the second night of the “Malta Massive Weekend.”
Promoter Lyle DeVore said Wednesday that all Modified drivers who wish to take part will be given two sets of time trials, with the driver with the best AVERAGE time from the two sessions getting the $500 bonus.
According to DeVore, cars will still be sent out in groups, and the number of groups will be determined by the number of cars taking time.
