Chris Madden Released From Hospital; Won’t Require Surgery; May Return Racing When Comfortable
Story By: SCOTT BLOOMQUIST RACING – MOORESBURG, TN – Scott Bloomquist Racing has very good news regarding the driver of the #0M, Chris Madden.
After being transferred from the Avita ER, to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and undergoing a more thorough evaluation and CAT Scan to the fractured left eye socket. Driver Chris Madden has been released from the hospital.
Several specialists evaluated Madden’s injuries and have determined that surgery is not required at this time which is very positive news for the SBR team driver.
The #0M will not be able to compete in this weekends Dirt Million event. However, DR’s have indicated that once swelling subsides, Madden will likely be able to return to the cockpit when he feels comfortable. This news is very good, considering surgery would require a lengthy recovering process.
Madden will be traveling home today to South Carolina to be with his family. Chris wants to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. We would like to kindly request his privacy at this time.
