Penn Can, Five Mile Point & Utica-Rome On Tap For Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour Next
Story By: JEFF CIGLICH / DIRT MODIFIED NOSTALGIA TOUR – NORTH AUGUSTA, ONT – The Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour resumes it’s 17 race schedule this weekend with it’s first ever appearances at the Penn Can Speedway in Susquehanna, PA then following up with the Five Mile Point Speedway in Kirkwood, NY. The series then wraps up the busy weekend at Utica Rome Speedway in Vernon, NY on Sunday.
The race at Five Mile point will see two separate features for the Nostalgia and Modified divisions as a good field of cars is expected.
Some of the highlights and firsts this weekend include Allie Elkins debut in the series wheeling a beautiful Dodge Challenger bodied racer. Richard and Jeff Ackerman, longtime vintage racers bring their flat head powered machines out for the first time with the series and Jason Powers is expected to make his first appearance at Utica Rome on Sunday.
Series regular John Stanley returns after missing the opener at Land Of Legends Raceway. “Always look forward to racing new tracks and looking forward to returning to Utica Rome” John explained.
