Extra Cash On The Line This Friday At Big Diamond Speedway

Story By: KENNETH BRUCE / BIG DIAMOND SPEEDWAY – MINERSVILLE, PA – It will be “No Sweat Service Group” night this Friday at the speedway with all divisions racing for extra cash as part of the Dave Kamp Memorial.

The Insigner Performance modifieds will run under their handicapping system for the first time this week with the winner of the 25-lap main event taking home a cool $4000.

The extra money is not limited to just the modifieds this week as the USS Achey Sportsman will be back in action this Friday after a week off offering $1000 to the winner of the 20-lap feature race. But wait, there’s more! Adding to the extra money being offered to the winner there will be a $500 bonus courtesy of PPB bringing the total winning prize to $1500. There will also be lap money available as part of the night.

The always exciting Savage 61 Road Runners will also be racing for some extra cash this Friday with the winner of the main event receiving $225 plus a $158 bonus from Weilands One Stop market. The Road Runners will also receive some bonus lap money this Friday.

After a two-week absence, it will be the return of the Eash’s Towing & Recovery Street Stocks who will also be racing for some extra money. The winner of the 20-lap feature race will receive $500 along with a $400 bonus provided by Ken’s Tire. That will bring the total winner’s share on Friday night to $900 plus lap money.

Gates will open on Friday night at 5:30pm with warmups getting underway at 7:15pm, racing will begin promptly at 7:45pm

General admission for Friday night is $20 for Adults, $18 for Seniors, Kids 11-12 are $10. Kids 10 and under along with active military with valid ID are admitted free.
