Month Of May Offers A Variety Of Racing At Grandview Speedway

Story By: ERNIE SAXTON / GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY – BECHTELSVILLE, PA – The month of May will see a variety of different classes of racing being presented on Saturday nights at Grandview Speedway in addition to the weekly regular attractions, T.P.Trailers NASCAR Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman stock cars.

Coming up on Saturday, May 4th, the first Saturday with the new starting time of 7:30 p.m., the Blast from the Past Vintage Racers will be showing off their talents and giving fans the opportunity to see what race cars were like in the past. Adult admission is priced at $15 while youngsters under 12 are admitted free. Pit admission is $30. And there is free parking on the speedway grounds.

The May 4th Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet will feature Sportsman racers Brandon Edgar, winner of his first feature this past Saturday, and Sean Weiss.

The following Saturday will have the Modifieds and Sportsman in action as they will be each week along with added attractions.

East Coast United States Auto Club (USAC) Sprints will make their first appearance at Grandview Speedway on Saturday, May 18th.

Sunday, May 19th, 1 p.m. the Outlaw Enduros and Blast from the Past Vintage Racers are in action.

Modifieds and Sportsman are the attraction in a doubleheader show on May 25th while the following Saturday, June 1st, the Central Pennsylvania Legends will be the added attraction.
