Fab4 Ready To Roll On Mother’s Night This Friday At Lernerville

Story By: GARY HEEMAN / LERNERVILLE SPEEDWAY – SARVER, PA – Mother Nature has not been a race fan thus far in 2019. Following a third consecutive lost program, The Action Track and it’s drivers and fans are hoping the necessary elements come together to make the start of the season possible this Friday night.

On tap on the track this week, the Fab4 Revved up with Marburger will be looking to get their first show of the season in the books.

It will be a special evening for the ladies on Friday night at they will receive free grandstand admission as part of our annual Mother’s Night offerings. And, the first 100 ladies through the grandstand gate will be receiving a surprise as well.

The Peoples Gas DIRTcar Sprints, Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models, Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds and Precise Racing Products DIRTcar/RUSH Pro Stocks will all be in action on Friday night. And they’ll be ready to take their first meaningful laps at Lernerville for the year.

Many area drivers have managed to get some seat time at select speedways in the area between raindrops and have done some impressive things to this point. AJ Flick currently sits in sixth place in the point standings at Port Royal Speedway while Dan Shetler has enjoyed some top five finishes at Lincoln Speedway in the early portion of the season. Meanwhile, Sye Lynch and Brandon Matus managed top five finishes at Wayne County Speedway on April 13 and 2016 Sprint Car Champion Jack Sodeman Jr. has made several appearances to this point.

On the Late Model side of the coin, Alex Ferree, Michael Norris and Colton Flinner have one win apiece at Port Royal thus far in 2019. And in Big Block Modified action, Rex King Jr. collected the first win in the area with his victory in BRP Modified tour action at Michael’s Mercer Raceway on April, 13. Perhaps the most impressive start by a Lernerville weekly competitor resides with Pro Stock driver Joey Zambotti who managed to win five consecutive feature events at Hagerstown Speedway in earlier action this season.

Sprint To Checkers Challenge Commences Friday Night
