Rain Cancels Opening Night Action At Woodhull Raceway

Story By: MEGAN DUPUY / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – As most race fans and drivers were excited to kick off the race season, Mother Nature had different plans. Due to heavy rains over night Woodhull Raceway has cancelled tonight’s show.

“The grandstand parking area as well as the pit area is saturated with water.” says owner, Ted White.

Action will now kick off next weekend, April 27 with a complete show including the Insinger Performance Modifieds.

Woodhull Raceway can be found in Woodhull, NY, just 30 minutes West of Corning, NY, competing weekly on Saturday nights from mid-April all the way until Labor Day Weekend. The track offers numerous special events including the Patriot Sprint Tour 360 Sprints and the Short Track Super Series Modifieds in early-August.
