Brock Zearfoss Rolls To Top-Five Finish Friday At Williams Grove Speedway

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / PREMIER MOTORSPORTS – JONESTOWN, PA – Although Brock Zearfoss’ Central Pennsylvania top-ten streak came to a close on Saturday afternoon after suffering from a mechanical issue at Port Royal Speedway, clogged engine nozzles after starting 17th, the ‘Jonestown Jet’ did kick off his recent weekend with a top-five performance at Williams Grove Speedway.

Zearfoss, driver of the Premier Motorsports/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/River City Wood Products/No. 70 sprint car, finished fourth during his Friday night visit to The Grove, capitalizing for a top-five after starting second on the grid.

The Jonestown-native is two-for-two in the top-ten column thus far in 2019 during action at Williams Grove Speedway; he finished ninth on March 17.

“We’ve been recording a lot of positive lap time over the last few weeks,” Zearfoss said, the 2017 Port Royal Speedway track champion who is now a full-time All Star. “I keep getting more and more comfortable in the car. My guys do a fantastic job and I certainly wouldn’t be in this position without them. Our All Star schedule resumes in a few weeks, and luckily for us, we get to come right back to Central Pennsylvania. Our plan is to put our notes to good use and hopefully contend for a win with the Series.”

Brock Zearfoss and Premier Motorsports will continue their 2019 campaign with another round of Central Pennsylvania competition on Friday and Saturday, April 5 & 6. In repeat fashion, Zearfoss will visit Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway, respectively, continuing valuable test sessions for the upcoming All Star Circuit of Champions programs at the aforementioned facilities on April 12 & 13.
