Utica-Rome’s Sportsman Division Sponsor Returns; Still Official Energy Supplier Of Track

That partnership is set to continue for the 2019 racing season as Broedel Fuel Group remains the presenting sponsor for the DIRTcar Sportsman.
The company will also serve as the “Official Energy Supplier” of the Utica-Rome Speedway by keeping all the heavy equipment on the move by supplying diesel fuel and providing the propane gas for the concession areas.
Under the Broedel Fuel Group umbrella, Broedel Energy Located in Hubbardsville NY and Ferguson Fuels, located in West Winfield, NY, Broedel Fuel Group has been providing energy products in the region since 2001. Broedel Fuel Group will be sponsoring three events at the Utica-Rome Speedway in 2019. The Empire Super Sprints visit the speedway on May 26, July 7 and again on September 1. Those nights will be presented by Broedel Fuel Group.
Matt Janczuk received a special thank you from the company during the annual awards celebration last weekend. Janczuk dominated the Broedel Fuel Group DIRTcar Sportsman division in 2018 to claim his third consecutive championship in the division.

Drivers looking for an opportunity to take the track before the season officially gets rolling on April 14 will have that chance on Sunday, April 7. The scheduled go time for practice is 2pm with gates opening at noon. All divisions are welcome to take to the speedway.
The 2019 season gets started on Sunday, April 14 with the running of the Spring Break Shootout featuring the big-block Modifieds in a 30-lap feature for $2,500 to win, the DirtTrackDigest.com DIRTcar 358-Modifieds, Broedel Fuel Group DIRTcar Sportsman and the Ted’s Body Shop DIRTcar Pro Stocks. Racing is set to get underway at 6pm.
