Thunder Mountain Joins 2019 CRSA Sprint Car Series Schedule

Story By: TOBY LAGRANGE / CRSA – SODUS, NY – Following a pair of car show appearances, the SuperGen Products with Champion Power Equipment CRSA Sprint Car Series is ready to take the green flag on the 2019 season. The 2019 season, which will be the 14th for the series, will visit seven different race tracks representing 14 race dates.

If you picked up your schedule card at one of the shows or have been following the CRSA on social media, then you would notice an event – at a seventh track, has been added.

On Sunday, July 21st the CRSA Sprint Car Series will return to the track where they ended the 2018 season – the Thunder Mountain Speedway. The track, located near Cortland, will welcome the stars and cars of the CRSA in conjunction with their special Wade Decker Memorial event.

The event becomes the sixth event of the season and falls between visits to a pair of historic fairgrounds facilities – the Land of Legends Raceway and Fonda Speedway. The series is at the Land of Legends Raceway the night before and at Fonda on July 27th.

The 2018 season ended with Dalton Herrick visiting victory lane up on the mountain. Dalton was followed by Afton Motorsports Park winner Tyler Jashembowski and newly crowned, two-time series champion Jeff Trombley.

The 2019 SuperGen Products with Champion Power Equipment CRSA Sprint Car Series season takes the green on Saturday May 18th at the Land of Legends Raceway in Canandaigua, New York.
