Solid 13th Place Run Saturday Night At Lincoln For Brett Michalski
Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BRETT MICHALSKI MOTORSPORTS – PENNDEL, PA – After what turned out to be a frustrating visit to Lincoln Speedway, not qualifying for main event competition on Saturday, March 16, Penndel, Pennsylvania’s Brett Michalski rebounded big on Saturday, March 23, and rallied from 17th to finish 13th.
Michalski, driver of the Brett Michalski Motorsports/JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning/Irish Rover Station House/York by Johnson Controls/Wood Services/Big Heads/No. 73B sprint car, has had an up and down relationship with Lincoln Speedway thus far in 2019, actually highlighting all starts in the Pigeon Hills with a top-ten during the season-opening Icebreaker on Sunday, March 10.
“It takes time to find your comfort zone in the car especially so early in the season like this,” Brett Michalski explained, the 2018 Lincoln Speedway Rookie of the Year. “Lucky for us, we race against a high level of competition. That forces us to be on our toes at all times. We’re getting stronger as a team and that’s motivating. All we can do is learn as much as we can and follow our notes.”
Brett Michalski and Brett Michalski Motorsports will continue their 2019 campaign with visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, March 29 & 30, respectively.
