Ohsweken Speedway To Sponsor OSCAAR Hot Rod Rookie Of The Year Award

Story By: ASHLEY MCCUBBIN / OSCAAR – ONTARIO, CA – OSCAAR is proud to announce that Ohsweken Speedway will sponsor the Knightworks Design OSCAAR Hot Rod Series Rookie of the Year Award. Additionally, they will be the presenting sponsor for the Hot Rod event at Flamboro Speedway on August 24.

Known as one of the premiere facilities in Ontario, Ohsweken Speedway runs a weekly Friday night racing program from May to September each year, featuring the 360 Sprint Cars, Crate Sprint Cars, Thunder Stocks, and Mini Stocks. The 3/8 dirt track also welcomes several premiere touring series throughout the year.

One of the biggest events on their schedule each year is the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals taking place on September 13 and 14, which attracts drivers from across North America to compete for the title. They will also be hosting the Northern Summer Nationals on July 22 and 23, which will see NASCAR stars Tony Stewart, Christopher Bell and Rico Abreu compete against the top sprint car competitors.

The Knightworks Design OSCAAR Hot Rods always put on a thrilling event at Flamboro Speedway, as drivers battle door-to-door around the 1/3 mile located in Milgrove, Ontario. The Hot Rods crowned their champion last year at Flamboro in thrilling fashion with the lead changing hands multiple times over the course of the event.

The 2019 campaign marks the third season for the Knightworks Design OSCAAR Hot Rods, and promises to be jam-packed with action as the series continues to grow.
