New Sponsorship Partners Join Brockville’s 50th Anniversary Season
Story By: JIM CLARKE / BROCKVILLE ONTARIO SPEEDWAY – BROCKVILLE, ONT. CA – It could potentially be the biggest year in track history and you won’t want to miss a minute of the excitement. 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of Brockville Ontario Speedway. From the first green flag of the Saturday, May 11th season opener to the final victory lane interview of October’s DIRTcar Northeast Fall Nationals, it’ll be a star-studded schedule at The BOS.
“We’ll have a lot of special events and promotions going on throughout the year,” said track owner and promoter Paul Kirkland. “Everyone on our team is playing a role in the plans and bringing some great ideas to the table. The lid-lifter is still about a couple of months away, but we’re adding new details to the calendar week-after-week.”
Kirkland is quick to acknowledge the contributions of the track’s sponsorship partners when it comes to making the upcoming season a success. Long time supporters 1000 Islands RV Sales has become the title backers for the 358 Modified division, with Draper Doors lending their corporate identity to the Rookie Sportsman field. Also new this year will be Billings Automotive, who will provide title branding for the leading heat race winner in each of the weekly divisions. Loud & Dirty Brand has signed-on for a second consecutive season sponsoring the season-ending Northeast Fall Nationals; while Tackaberry Construction has re-upped their support of the track’s victory lane for another year.
“Its great to have some strong marketing partners on our team for the 2019 season,” Paul Kirkland said. “Our teams deserve the best level of funding we can provide and there is still room for more companies, products and service to join the fold, including title sponsorships for the Mini Stock, Street Stock and Sportsman-Modified classes. The contact information is on our web-site and we’re happy to talk to anyone about this exciting form of advertising.”
Brockville Speedway will also participate in a pair of pre-season events, with its presence in the Kingston Racing Preview Show – Friday & Saturday, March 29th and 30th – at Frontenac Mall in Kingston and the annual Fan Fest – Saturday, April 20th, in support of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario – at Walmart, on Parkdale Avenue in Brockville. There is also an open testing session – with track time for all regular classes, from 1:00 ‘til 4:00 – Saturday, May 4th.
