Justin Whittall Continued 2019 Season Saturday With Port Royal Opener
Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / JW MOTORSPORTS – VINCENTOWN, NJ – It was not the end result Justin Whittall was working for, but the lap time to reach the end result was exactly what he needed.
Whittall, pilot of the JW Motorsports/Atlantic Utility Trailer/Brotherton Brewing Company/Pioneer Auto Body/Worldwide Bearings/No. 67 sprint car, joined the Pennsylvania Posse yet again during the recent weekend, this time visiting the ‘Speed Palace’ that is Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, March 23. Although scored 20th at the conclusion of the opening day main event, Whittall continues to stay confident, already looking forward to using his notes for the upcoming weekend.
“Lap time is important right now. We are still learning, so anytime you get an opportunity to log 25 laps is a good thing, no matter where you finish,” Justin Whittall explained, who will compete in the 410c.i. ranks full-time in 2019. “Racing with the level of competition that exists in Central Pennsylvania is only going to help us improve, especially on dry-slick race tracks. Things are only going to get better.”
Although a disappointing outing on Saturday, Whittall does have some positive history at the Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile; a fourth place finish during 410.c.i action in 2018.
Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will visit the Port Royal ‘Speed Palace’ once again on Saturday, March 30.
