Brock Zearfoss Battles To A Top-Ten At Lincoln Speedway Sunday

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Forced to wait a few extra weeks due to Mother Nature, the ‘Jonestown Jet’ Brock Zearfoss finally returned to the driver’s seat of his Premier Motorsports entry and entered the annual Icebreaker at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Sunday, March 10.

Certainly closer to home, the $4,000 Pennsylvania lid-lifter was Zearfoss’ first start since his All Star Circuit of Champions schedule commenced during the early weeks of February.

Although forced to compete on tricky track conditions, mostly due to overnight rain and ongoing cooler temperatures, Zearfoss’ return to the Pigeon Hills resulted in success, ultimately climbing ahead from 13th on the grid to finish sixth; his third top-ten of 2019.

“It was definitely tricky to pass, but hats off to Lincoln Speedway for getting the show in. It feels good to get back in the car,” Zearfoss said, driver of the Premier Motorsports/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/No. 70 entry. “We had some lucky breaks go our way, but we’ll take this top-ten and move forward. My guys did a great job and I certainly wouldn’t be in this position without their hard work and dedication.”

Brock Zearfoss and Premier Motorsports will return to Central Pennsylvania competition on Saturday and Sunday, March 16 & 17, with visits to Port Royal Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway. The nearby Jonestown-native is certainly no stranger to action at the world-famous paperclip, as well as the Port Royal ‘Speed Palace.’ In fact, Zearfoss earned a World of Outlaws victory at Williams Grove Speedway in 2017, the same year he claimed the Port Royal Speedway track championship.
