Chad Kemenah Set For A Busy 2019 Season Of Sprint Car Racing

Story By: JOE BURRAGE / CHAD KEMENAH RACING – ALVADA, OH – Chad Kemenah has his 2019 Racing Plans set and he is proud to announce he will be racing with Shannon and Cheri Wheatley. The Redlined Welding, Kent Performance Chassis, Morrison Racing Engines No.45 sprinter first race of the season will be with the World of Outlaws at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas on February 27th and 28th.

From there Kemenah and the Redlined Racing Team will stay on the West Coast and run most of the California Swing.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to drive for Shannon and Cheri Wheatley, they are great people that have been around sprint car racing for a long time and understand what it takes to run a competitive team that can win races anywhere in the country,” says Kemenah. “I am very excited for the World of Outlaws races in Las Vegas and California, Shannon Wheatley helped me out when I was driving my white No.63 car and we clicked instantly, and I had my best ever West Coast Swing with the World of Outlaws so I am very thankful for this opportunity in 2019 and I am going to go out there and try to win as many races as I can for them.”

The Redlined Racing Team will be running a True Outlaw style schedule in 2019. The team will race with the World of Outlaws, All Star Circuit of Champions, Central Pennsylvania and has plans to visit the Knoxville Raceway for some weekly shows along with all the high profile races throughout the United States.

“Right now we have the Las Vegas and California World of Outlaws races set along with the high profile races but more will be announced soon,” said Kemenah. “Shannon and Cheri Wheatley are not only car owners but they both own successful businesses and we will make sure they have plenty of time to race and they will also get back home to make sure their businesses are running smoothly. My family and I are very grateful for this opportunity and I also would like to thank Champion Racing Oil, they have been racing with me for close to ten years now and there support has been fantastic, they produce the best racing oil and they are also tremendous people to work with.”

The 2019 Season kicks off shortly at the Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida on January 31st thru February 3rd for three nights of racing and Chad is also pleased to announce he will pilot a second car for Liz Matus Racing. Liz Matus Racing has been racing with the All Star Circuit of Champions for the past couple of season with John Garvin behind the wheel. Kemenah and Liz Matus Racing Team will compete at Bubba Raceway and then move on to the Volusia Speedway Park to compete against The All Star Circuit of Champions and the World of Outlaws.

“When John Garvin and Liz Matus were running with the All Star Series the past few season I was very fortunate to get to know them and help them out on the road since they have not seen a lot of the tracks outside of Western Pennsylvania,” said Kemenah. “Starting the season at Bubba Raceway Park will be fun, last year we able to pick up the win from the 17th starting position along with a third place run. I am very grateful that Liz Matus Racing is giving me an opportunity to race in Florida, the competition is tough in Florida to start the year but LMR has good equipment and we will have everything all ready to go here in the coming weeks.”

Chad Kemenah and the Redlined Welding Racing Team have plans to race a very competitive schedule but when the No.45 sprinter is not racing Kemenah will drive a Champ Car for Father In-Law Bob Hampshire and family friend Clark Lamme. Kemenah will run several Champ Car Races on dirt only and is pretty excited about this unique opportunity.

“This deal just kind of came up when I was at Bob Hampshire shop we were talking about Champ Car Races and it just turned into how about we run a few of the dirt races when you’re not racing the wing car,” says Kemenah. “Bob Hampshire has been successful with the Champ Car the past few season and it will be fun racing out there, I have never ran a Champ Car in a competitive race before but I am more than confident Bob Hampshire and Clark Lamme will have everything ready to go.”
