RPW Exclusive: Bicknell Racing Products Stays Focused During Racing’s Off-Season

Whether it’d be snow or frigid temperatures, it is certainly a change of pace for a lot of the drivers of the Super DirtCar Series. Some are busy taking vacations, some drivers are hard at work during their Monday-Friday jobs, or some drivers are just simply enjoying their off season.

One place in the Southeast of Canada is turning up the heat during their busiest time of the year. Bicknell Racing Products out of St Catharines Ontario is hard at work creating chassis for a lot of the drivers in the Super DirtCar Series and Modified racing around the Northeast United States.

“The shop puts out nearly a car a day,” Pete Bicknell, owner of Bicknell Racing Products, commented at the 2017 Northeast Racing Products show in Syracuse.

This year, Bicknell Racing Products stayed engaged with social media both on their Facebook and Twitter pages. They have posted some of the new chassis going out to such drivers as Dave Marcuccilli and Billy Van Pelt. With all of these posts, it adds to the shine from racing’s spot light. In posts, drivers and fans are taking notice of the progress BRP is making this off-season.

In fact, BRP has put out more cars than last year’s off-season. BRP has made it past their 100 chassis mark that are already made and out the door for the 2019 race season. Increased orders have seen Bicknell Racing Products to put nearly 6-8 cars out the door every week.

In speaking with the media director at Bicknell, they are excited to share more drivers chassis as they are made. “We like to share with everyone what actually does go on here at BRP as some people do not know what our off-season is like.”
