Tyler Thompson Continues Fall Stretch With Eastern States Weekend At Orange County Friday

Story By: DAN KAPUSCINSKI / JASON SIMMONS RACING – OSWEGO, NY – If there is a race to be had, Jason Simmons Racing and Tyler Thompson will find it. With that, the team will next head to the hard clay of Orange County Fair Speedway for Eastern States Weekend on Friday.

Thompson and team will travel to OCFS with their Bicknell Chassis No. 98T Sportsman in search of a hefty $5,000 pay day in the prestigious Eastern States Sportsman Championship 50-lap special. A host of top competitors are anticipated to be on hand with more than 40 pre-entries already posted for the event.

Thompson enters the weekend off of a good stretch of action including excellent runs at Weedsport Speedway, Brewerton Speedway and Oswego Speedway during Super DIRT Week as well as a 13th place finish in the Brockville Ontario Fall Nationals and a top five run in Supermodified action at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.

Now, Thompson will look to keep the streak alive at Orange County before heading to the Dirt Track at Charlotte next weekend.

Thompson will next take on the dirt as a part of the Driven Racing Oil World Short Track Championship at the Dirt Track at Charlotte on October 25-27, where he is the defending champion of the Sportsman All-Star Invitational.
