Flemington Speedway Historical Society Car Show To Take Place October 20th
Story By: DIANE TRACY / FLEMINGTON SPEEDWAY HISTORICAL SOCIETY – FLEMINGTON, NJ – Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, Flemington Speedway Historical Society’s eighth annual Car Show presented by Flemington Department Store will be held at the Roger K. Everitt Fairgrounds (South County Park- 4H Fairgrounds), 1207 Route 179 in Lambertville. The event is rain or shine. Exhibitor gates open at 7:00 am, spectator gates open at 9:00. Awards are at 2:00 and the show ends at 3:00.
More than 950 vehicles attended last year. All types of vehicles will be on display — cars, race cars, motorcycles, trucks, tractors, boats, monster trucks, emergency vehicles, military vehicles – even planes! In addition, a flea market, craft vendors and food vendors, and a DJ spinning tunes are on tap.
Show vehicle registration is $15, spectator admission is $5 per adult, and spectator parking is free. Children under 16 years of age are admitted free with an adult. Trophies will be awarded to first place winners in 19 classes and some special awards will also be given. Dash plaques and goodie bags will be available to the first 600 vehicle entries at the Grange Building. No pets or alcohol are permitted on the grounds.
The proceeds benefit Flemington Speedway Historical Society and the Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair.
