Story By: STEVE PETTY / RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY – RANSOMVILLE, NY – The second annual John Susice Memorial for the KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks will headline the racing action on Friday, July 13 as Niagara Hardwood, A-1 Land Care, Sunset Bar and Grill, and WGR 550 will present the program at the Ransomville Speedway. It will also be Halloween Night with all sorts of activities pre-race including Trick-Or-Treating. Also, on the program will be the popular Kids Power Wheel Races!

“My Uncle did a lot for racers around the area, and we thought it would be great to do something in his memory” commented three-time defending Krown Undercoating of Ransomville 358 Modified Champion Ryan Susice. John loved the action at tracks throughout the region and worked on the engines of several top Ransomville competitors. John passed away in February of 2017. “John was always a huge Street Stock supporter, so it was a natural fit to have a big Street Stock race in his memory” stated longtime Ransomville Speedway Official Jeff Anstett.

There will be a driver’s meeting for the Gippster’s Collision 4 Bangers at 6:15 pm Friday night. The meeting will take place at the Pit Board regarding the 2019 rules.

More plans are in the works on Halloween Night at the Races including a possible costume contest with prizes being awarded for both kids and adults. Race teams of Jeff McGinnis, Dave DiPietro, Jim Harbison, Jordan Moden, Ashley Blech, and Cody Wolfe will be handing out candy on Friday night for Trick-Or-Treating.
