Brock Zearfoss Looking Forward To Central PA Tripleheader

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – With his recent weekend cut short due to Mother Nature, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss will try again this Friday through Sunday, May 11-13, and enter a trio of Central Pennsylvania programs at Williams Grove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, and BAPS Motor Speedway, respectively.

Sunday’s Kevin Gobrecht Classic program at BAPS Motor Speedway, originally slated for Sunday, May 6, but was postponed due to wet weather, will award a $4,900 top prize.

“Our weekend was cut short, but that comes with the territory,” Zearfoss explained, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Meckley’s Limestone/Central Builders Supply Co./Berkebile Oil Company/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Creekside Roofing and Siding/Bargain Barn/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./No. 3Z sprint car. “We struggled some this past weekend, but we’ll get it figured out before we head back to Williams Grove Speedway on Friday. We have a lot going on in May. The goal is to build our momentum and consistency back up before the Outlaws get here the following week.”

Zearfoss will enter the upcoming tripleheader with one recent top-ten performance to his credit, finishing seventh at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” on Saturday, May 5. Other recent starts include joining the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, May 4.

With over 40 Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour entries making the call, Zearfoss earned enough passing points during the preliminary portion of the program to qualify for the evening’s $4,000-to-win main event. Lining up mid-pack on an abrasive surface, Zearfoss still managed to advance three positions for an 11th place finish.
