Story By: SHAWN BROUSE / WILLIAMS GROVE SPEEDWAY – MECHANICSBURG, PA – The Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars will tune up for the upcoming invasion by the World of Outlaws at Williams Grove Speedway with a tune up event coming up this Friday, May 11 at 7: 30 pm.

The outlaws are set to invade the track for a two-day stand on May 18 and 19, thus the locals known as the Pennsylvania Posse need to be on their game to rival the traveling band and this Friday’s tune up race is designed to get them there.

The HJ Towing and Recovery 358 sprints are also on this week’s program.

Adult general admission for the May 11 racing program is set at $16 with students ages 13-20 admitted for just $10.

Kids ages 12 and under are always admitted for FREE at Williams Grove Speedway.

Brooks Powersports sponsors the World of Outlaws tune up race that will pay $4,000 to win the 25-lap feature.

A regular World of Outlaws format will be followed to set the heat and feature starting grids, including time trials.

The Brooks Powersports World of Outlaws tune up race will also be the second in the season-long Hoosier Diamond Series at the track.

The first 300 fans thru the gates on Friday night will receive a free Pennsylvania Posse rally flag courtesy of Brooks Powersports.

And then coming up May 18 and 19 at Williams Grove Speedway will be the first visit of the season by the World of Outlaws including full programs both nights with Saturday’s show declaring the 2018 Morgan Cup title holder.
