New Egypt’s Garden State Gunfight II Moved To June 27th
Story By: MIKE WISNIEWSKI / NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY – NEW EGYPT, NJ – To avoid a conflict with the Short Track Super Series, New Egypt Speedway’s Garden State Gunfight 2 has been moved to Wednesday, June 27.
“We had originally scheduled this event to be on Wednesday, June 20. In order to provide the best for racers and fans, it made sense to move this race back one week,” stated New Egypt Speedway’s Joey Liquori.
The Garden State Gunfight 2 on Wednesday, June 27 will be a two-division card featuring a 60-lap shootout for the Modifieds. The victor of this race will go home with $6,000 and the take the green money will be $400. A 30-lap contest for the Crate Modifieds vs. Sportsman will round out the docket. All competitors attempting to qualify will receive 50 points.
New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. A racy 7/16-mile D-shaped dirt oval, New Egypt Speedway serves Garden State race fans with some of the best competition in the country.
