Lucas Oil LM Dirt Series Crown Jewel Cup Title Fight Set To Begin
Story By: JEREMY SHIELDS / LUCAS OIL LATE MODEL DIRT SERIES – BATAVIA, OH – The road to the coveted ASi Racewear Crown Jewel Cup – Presented by DirtonDirt.com title begins this weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway.
The stoutest roster in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series history is sure to make the chase for the 2018 Crown Jewel Cup the most exciting one yet. The Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com – on May 26 will be the first event in the season long battle for the $10,000 year-end bonus.
The ASi Racewear Crown Jewel Cup – presented by DirtonDirt.com will award points to drivers at the eleven crown jewel events, within the series schedule that pay $20,000 or more to the winner. The driver that maintains perfect attendance throughout the season and earns the most points, within these eleven events, will receive a $10,000 bonus at the championship awards banquet. In 2018, the drivers who finish second through fifth in the Crown Jewel Cup will earn $5,000, $3,000, $2,000, and $1,000 in cash, respectively.

August 18th – 26th Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 – Batesville Motor Speedway – $40,000
August 25th – Dirt Million – Mansfield Motor Speedway – $150,000+
September 2nd – 50th Annual Hillbilly Hundred – Tyler County Speedway – $50,000
September 15th – 14th Annual Knoxville LM Nationals – Knoxville Raceway – $40,000
October 5th-6th – 30th Annual Pittsburgher 100 – Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway – $20,000
