Lebanon Valley Speedway Cancels Racing For Second Week In A Row
Story By: PHIL ALLAWAY / LEBANON VALLEY SPEEDWAY – WEST LEBANON, NY – Once again, the weather forecast was not kind to race fans at Lebanon Valley Speedway. Around 9 a.m. Saturday morning, rain moved into the Capital Region. At first, it was light, but later picked up in intensity.
Just after 11:30 a.m., the decision was made was made to cancel the racing card. Most of the scheduled races will not be made up. The exception to that rule is the Sportsman class. They were scheduled to run the Andrew Sherman Memorial, a $2000 to win event that is one of the biggest Sportsman races of the year at Lebanon Valley. That race has been postponed to June 2nd.
