CRSA To Invade The Land Of Legends Saturday
Story By: TOBY LAGRANGE / CRSA – SODUS, NY – After a three-week break, the stars and cars of the SuperGen Products with Champion Power Equipment CRSA Sprint Car Series roars back to action Saturday night at the legendary Land of Legends Raceway. The event will be the first of five events at the half-mile track, all of which are part of the CRSA/Land of Legends Challenge Series.
The season opened for the CRSA on May 5th at another legendary track, the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, New York. When the checkered flags waved at the end of the 20 lap A-Main, Circleville, New York’s Thomas Radivoy stood tall in victory lane. Connecticut’s Sydney Price finished second with Bobby Hackel, IV third, Scott Flammer fourth and Christian Rumsey fifth.
Unlike the other tracks on the 2018 CRSA Schedule, the Land of Legends Raceway offers weekly 305 Sprint Car racing. After three events Rochester’s David Ferguson holds the points lead in the Mike Emhof Motorsports 305 Sprint Car Division. The remainder of the top five show Alysha Bay, Darryl Ruggles, Brandyn Griffin and Johnny Kolosek. Ferguson (two) and Griffin (one) have claimed A-Main victories.
After one event Radivoy leads the overall SuperGen Products with Champion Power Equipment point standings by three over Prince. Hackel sits eight points back in third with Flammer (nine points back) and Rumsey (13 points back) completing the top five.
