CRSA Sprints To Make First Appearance Of 2018 At Afton This Friday
Story By: JR KENNERUP / AFTON MOTORSPORTS PARK – AFTON, NY – This Friday night the Capital Region Sprint Association ( CRSA ) will make their first of four visits of the 2018 racing season at the Afton Motorsports Park.
The CRSA Sprints powered by a 305 cubic inch engine always put on a very entertaining show at Afton Motorsports Park and this Friday night is expected to be no different.
CRSA will be led into Afton Motorsports Park by defending CRSA Champion Jeff Trombley. Expected to join Trombley in the field this Friday night are Thomas Radivoy, Bobby Hackel IV, Syndey Prince, Tyler Jashembowski, Emily VanInwegen, local racers Dustin Purdy and Dana Wagner, and a host of other talented CRSA drivers.
Joining CRSA at Afton Motorsports Park on this Friday night are the ZMK Construction Modifieds, Chambers & O’ Hara Open Sportsman, Rinker Insurance Agency Street Stocks, The Trophy Guy IMCA Modifieds, and Four Cylinder Trucks.
Times for this Friday night at Afton Motorsports Park see pit gates swing open at 4 pm with grandstands opening at 4:30 pm. CRSA heat in motors will go off at 5:45 pm with hot laps starting at 6 pm, and the first heat goes green at 7 pm sharp.
With CRSA on the program a $2 increase in admission will take place, which sees grandstand admission being a reasonable $14, senior citizens age 62 and up admitted for $12, youth aged 9 to 14 are $7, and 8 and under are free with a paid adult admission. Pit admission will be $30 and no track license is required to enter the pit area.
