Successful Fulton Test & Tune In The Books; Highbank Holdup This Weekend

Story By: DAVE MEDLER / FULTON SPEEDWAY – FULTON, NY – What seemed like the never-ending off-season finally came to an end Tuesday night at the Fulton Speedway with Saturday’s postponed Test & Tune.

Eighty cars were signed in the pits as racers got to see their long winter hours in the race shop pay off as they hit the speedway to shake their cars down before the start the 2018 racing season. One thing was apparent walking the pit area, if there was a best appearing car award there wouldn’t have been enough trophies for all the good-looking cars in each division.

The Test & Tune fast times on the night went to, Tom Sears Jr. (Modified) Shane Pecore (Sportsman) AJ Kingsley & Bret Belden (Late Models) Larry Wight (Sprint Cars) Jake Holmes (Novice Sportsman) Mike Mullen (Mod Lites).

This Friday and Saturday, April 27-28 will see the first official race of the season get off the ground in a big way with the “Highbank Holdup” weekend highlighted by the Modified Super DIRTcar Series, DIRTcar Sportsman Championship Series and Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints over the two days.
