The anticipation is building towards two of the biggest shows of the season at the Big R as the World of Outlaw Craftsman Late Models make their anticipated return on Friday, June 15. For the second straight season, the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars will bring “The Greatest Show on Dirt” to town on Friday, July 27. Tickets will go on sale to the public for both shows starting on Thursday, March 15 by contacting 1-844-DIRT-TIX. Season ticket holders have until Wednesday, March 14 to secure their seat.
A fan favorite is making its return in 2018 on Friday, August 31 with the Demolition Derby at the end of that night’s racing program. Organized by Justin Israel, the Demolition Derby is back on the schedule and you have plenty of time to get your cars ready! “The rules I created are strongly based on the rules used at the Erie County Fair demo” stated Israel. “The reason for this is because the Ransomville demo will be held two weeks after the Erie County Fair, so anybody that has a car left over from the fair can bring it out to Ransomville”, Israel continued. The complete rules for the demolition derby will be posted online at www.ransomvillespeedway.com Israel also said that “fans should look forward to an awesome evening of automotive destruction”.
Next on the Ransomville Speedway schedule is the annual car show at the Fashion Outlets Niagara Falls USA March 23-25. There will be a meet & greet opportunity with drivers and Miss Ransomville contestants on Friday, March 23 from 6:30-7:15 pm. The crowning of Miss Ransomville will take place on Saturday, March 24 at 7 pm, after the autograph session from 6-6:30 pm. Make sure you are there on Saturday night for the pageant to see who the judges are going to be.
