Tyler Thompson Kicks-Off Busy March Schedule At Syracuse Motorsports Expo
Story By: DAN KAPUSCINSKI / TEAM TAPOUT RACING – OSWEGO, NY – Team Tapout Racing driver Tyler Thompson has a busy month of March ahead, starting with a visit to the Syracuse Motorsports Expo at the New York State Fairgrounds on March 10-11 with his No. 98T Troyer DIRTcar Sportsman Modified.
Coming off a trip to the annual DT100 charity karting event for Make-A-Wish, Thompson is eager to show off his Sportsman ride during Central New York’s biggest racing car show.
“The Motorsports Expo is the start to the racing season in our area,” said Thompson. “I am happy to be able to show off our ride and support our partners. After this weekend its back to racing, and we can’t wait.”
The Syracuse Motorsports Expo will take place this Saturday and Sunday inside the Center of Progress building on the New York State Fairgrounds. The show will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Adult admission is $12 with kids 6-12 only $5 and free admission for kids 5 and under.
Following the Syracuse Motorsports Expo Thompson will return to the seat of his Sportsman as he travels to Georgetown Speedway in Georgetown, DE to compete in the $1,000 to win Short Track Super Series L&J Sheet Metal 602 Sportsman event as a part of the Melvin J. Joseph Memorial Weekend on Saturday, March 17.
Thompson will then travel to York, PA for the Northeast Motorsports Expo & Races with his Slack Karts machines on March 24-25.
