Third Annual Spring Nationals Opens 2018 Season At Outlaw Speedway

Story By: KENNY SHUPP / OUTLAW SPEEDWAY – DUNDEE, NY – Outlaw Speedway owner/promoter, Tyler Siri and his staff and management team are pleased to announce that the Spring Nationals will kick off the 2018 season at the popular Yates County speed plant.

Friday, April 20, 2018 will be the date when Siri and company will swing the gates open for the first official racing event of the year and in typical Outlaw Speedway fashion it will be a high powered show that will start off the “18” campaign.

Coleman Gulick, owner of Nut Up and Out Ball “Em is pleased to sign on as the headline sponsor of the event featuring the $3,000 to win season opener for the ESS Lucas Oil 360 Sprints and the A-Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour along with a $3,000 to win show for the Friendly DCJR BB/SB Modifieds.

Also on the aggressive card of events will be the $1,500 to win GRIT Sportsman as well as the always popular Street Stocks which will race for $1,000 to win. The feature winner of the Decker Farmers Insurance Agency IMCA Fastshaft will also receive a cool $1,000 and the mighty 4 cylinders Outlaw Style will round out the 6 card show and compete for a winner’s share of $600.

In addition the totally redone 16 passenger Monster Truck will be available on opening night giving youngsters and oldsters alike this rare opportunity of touring the facility in a most unique way.

Pit Gates for the April 20, 2018 event will open at 3:00 pm with Grandstand gates at 4:30 pm. Hot laps will start at 6:00 pm with the first green flag of the night waving promptly at 7:00 pm.

It is anticipated that a huge crowd of anxious race fans along with a pit full of race cars will be on hand to kick off the 2018 campaign at the historic Yates County oval so make your plans now to be a part of the season opener at Outlaw Speedway, Rt. 14a in Dundee, NY.

Pit Admission for the event is posted at $40. General Admission Grandstand seating is $22 with Senior Citizens receiving $2 off on their General Admission ticket purchases. As always kids 12 and under are admitted absolutely free.

Should any unforeseen circumstances such as weather related matters become and issue a make-up date for the event is scheduled for Saturday, April 21 with all times and prices the same.
