Division Sponsors Announced For This Season At Afton Motorsports Park

Story By: JR KENNERUP / AFTON MOTORSPORTS PARK – AFTON, NY – Afton Motorsports Park track promoter Ron Ford is pleased to announce that four of the six weekly divisions have division sponsors for the 2018 racing season.

For the second year in a row ZMK Constriction will be sponsoring the Modified division. Also coming on board for the second season in a row is Chambers and O’ Hara who will be sponsoring the Open Sportsman division.

New division sponsors this year are Butler Auto Sales who will sponsoring the Crate Sportsman division and the Rinker Insurance Agency who will be sponsoring the Street Stock division.

Currently the IMCA Modified and Four Cylinder Truck division are without sponsorship. Any interested corporation and or company interested in sponsoring one of these divisions or any type of sponsorship that Afton Motorsports Park has available are urged to contact Ron Ford at 607 – 624 – 3772 or 607 – 639 – 1017 ( days ).

The 2018 racing season begins on Friday April 13th with a Test and Tune Session that is open to any racing machine that is competing at Afton Motorsports Park this year. Friday April 20th will be round two of Test and Tune Sessions as all racing teams getting time on the newly clayed racing surface.

Opening night is Friday April 27th with gates opening at 4 pm and racing action starting at 7 pm for the ZMK Construction Modifieds, Chambers & O’Hara Open Sportsman, Butler Auto Sales Crate Sportsman, Rinker Insurance Agency Street Stocks, IMCA Modifeds, and Four Cylinder Trucks.
