Martocci’s Auto Returns To Dirt Track Heroes Show March 4-10
Story By: STEVE PADOS / DIRT TRACK HEROES – PHILLIPSBURG, NJ – The 2018 edition of the Quaker Steak and Lube Eleventh Annual Dirt Track Heroes Car Show is into the final countdown stages of the event highlighting the past, present and future of auto racing all coming together under one roof at the Mall in Phillipsburg, New Jersey.

The doors of the Phillipsburg Mall will swing open to the public on opening day set for Sunday, March 4th starting at 1 PM with an autograph and interview session of Nazareth Speedway driving legends honoring two time Nazareth Modified Champion Bill Tanzosh.
The Phillipsburg Mall, located on Route 22 East in Phillipsburg, NJ, has proven to be a popular setting for this special event and will offer a multitude of race cars, racing memorabilia, collectibles and photos on display throughout the course of the show. All historical racing groups including Flemington, Tri State, Reading, Harmony and Nazareth will have their memorabilia on display and their many scrapbooks open for the fans to take another long look at the glory years of racing and possibly find a picture or two they want to purchase as a keepsake from past glory or racing exploits. Cars on display include big and small block Modifieds, Sportsman, Drag Cars, 270 and 600 Sprints, Midgets, All Sprint car divisions, Wingless Sprints, Late Models, go-karts, quarter midgets and a broad range of vintage and restored race cars. Hamlin, Snydersville, New Egypt, Grandview, Big Diamond, Accord and Bridgeport will again be among the many speedways involved with the 2018 show. The week-long event will set aside one evening to salute the “Stars of Tomorrow” with a special night for the budding young racing talents competing with the many quarter midget clubs in the local area.
The announcing team of Ed and Steve Pados, Bobby Stull, Justin Beltrame and Alex Greenzweig are in place to handle the interview sessions for the 11th consecutive season.The show has also incorporated Drag Racing into the show and all drag strips in the area have been invited to take part in the show.
