Land of Legends Raceway Announces Driver’s Race License Program For 2018

Story By: GREG EMERSON / LAND OF LEGENDS RACEWAY – CANANDAIGUA, NY – Land of Legends Raceway has announced the process for racers to prepare for the season.

Being that both the Big Blocks and Sportsman classes run under the DIRT sanctioning, all competitors in both classes must possess a 2018 DIRT license. In order to make that process simple for all of our competitors, we have listed on our website the forms necessary to obtain that license.

If the competitor mails in or fills out in person the forms with Land of Legends Raceway before March 15th, we will be extending a $20 savings to each competitor. Big Block licenses would be $105 instead of $125 and Sportsman licenses would be $80 instead of $100. We will also require a W-9 and biography form to be filled out, that includes contact information, sponsor details, number etc.

Those who already possess DIRT licenses for 2018 will simply need to provide their license number, the W-9 and biography form.

Similarly, the 305 class will be required to possess a CRSA Sprints license. In conjunction with Mike Emhof Motorsports, the title sponsor for the class, those licenses will be $110 total through March 15th, $20 off the regular $130. In addition to providing additional insurances, they will also afford license holders the ability to enter any CRSA race across the Northeast. Again, we will also require a W-9 and biography form to be filled out, that includes contact information, sponsor details, number etc.

Lastly, our street stocks class will be required to only supply a W-9 and biography form this season and New Legends just a bio form.

All forms are available on our website and can be submitted in person or mailed to Land of Legends Raceway, Inc., 320 Hoffman St, Newark, NY 14513 Hours of operation are 9-5 Monday through Friday and 9-1 on Saturday. They may also be submitted at the Auburn and Syracuse Motorsports shows to a Land of Legends Raceway team member.
