Racing Electronics Expands Dirt Racing Schedule In 2018

Story By: CHAD WILLIS / RACING ELECTRONICS – CONCORD, NC – Racing Electronics is expanding its industry-leading support of motorsports fans and competitors in 2018, announcing a new program to provide dedicated support to premiere dirt racing events across the United States.

Racing Electronics’ Team Services division will be on location with two-way communication devices and accessories for professional competitors, as well as taking impressions for custom ear molds. Competitors can get their first look at Switch-R, the industry’s most powerful micro-receiver.

For the race fan, Racing Electronics will be renting scanners, headphones and intercom systems, allowing event attendees to listen to the event’s public address announcer and series officials in race control. Pricing starts at $19.95 for the rental of a scanner and headphones. Beginning in February, fans can reserve their scanner rentals online at racingelectronics.com.

Racing Electronics will kick off support of the 2018 dirt racing season at the 32nd Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals (January 8-13) at Tulsa Expo Raceway. Other marquee stops in 2018 include:

  • Tony Stewart Texas Sprint Car Nationals at Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth, Texas
  • Sprint Car World Championship, Dirt Million at Mansfield, Ohio
  • The Dream, Kings Royal and Four Crown Nationals at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio
  • Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa.
  • 5-Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa
  • National Open at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa.
  • NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week at Oswego Speedway in Oswego, N.Y.
  • World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, N.C.
