Sponsor’s Named For 51st Tuscarora 50 All Star Sprint Event At Port Royal

Story By SHAWN BROUSE / PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY – PORT ROYAL, PA – Ramsey’s Car Washes & Garage of Mifflintown and Packer’s Concessions of Centre Hall have announced their title sponsorship of the 51st annual, $51,000 to win Port Royal Speedway Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints Tuscarora 50 coming up in September.

After the 2017 50th anniversary edition of the Tuscarora 50 set records in both the fan attendance and car count categories, Packers and Ramseys are thrilled to again present this timeless sprint car classic as part of the 164th annual Juniata County Fair at Port Royal Speedway.

Slated for Saturday, September 8, the 51st annual, $51,000 to win Tuscarora 50 presented by Ramseys and Packers will not only pay $51,000 to win but it will also pay $1,000 just to start the prestigious affair, boasting a total event purse of over $100,000.

The September 8 Tuscarora program featuring the All Stars Circuit of Champions Sprints will be preceded on Friday, September 7 by The Night Before The 50, going 30 laps in distance and paying $5,000 to win.

In 2017, car counts in excess of 60 entries were on hand for both nights of Tuscarora competition.

Ramsey’s offers two car washes, located east and west of Mifflintown on old Rt. 22, in Mifflintown with the garage located in Mifflintown as well.

Packer’s Concessions of Centre Hall frequents the speedway throughout the season, offering special concessions at only the oval’s biggest events while also playing the fair and festival circuit across the entire state of Pennsylvania.

The All Stars will close out the 164th annual Juniata County fair with their two-day Tuscarora stand at Port Royal but they will make their first visit of the season to the Port Royal Speedway coming up on Saturday, April 14 for the Keith Kauffman Classic.

The All Stars Keith Kauffman Classic will pay $5,000 to win with the Moon Shine Camo Rt. 35 Dirt Late Model Challenge Series also on the April 14 card, paying $2,200 to win.
