Accord Speedway To Host USAC East Coast Sprint Cars In 2018

Story By: JENNA SCHOSTKEWITZ / USAC EAST COAST SPRINT CARS – ACCORD, NY – On Jan. 2nd, we released the New Egypt Speedway race date and today we are pleased to release that on June 1st, 2018 the USAC East Coast Sprint Cars will make their way to their fourth state, New York.

The cars will compete on one the smallest and one of the raciest tracks New York has to offer, the 1/4 mile bullring of Accord Speedway. Like New Egypt, the NEWS Crate wingless Sprints will also be in attendance competing with the USAC-EC for the checkered flag in the wingless sprint cars version of the “Battle on the Bullring”.

The small bullring type track will be a true test to driver ability. From their previous showings with the NEWS Sprints, we are excited to have the opportunity to run on such a racy track.

Accord track promoter Gary Palmer feels that if all goes well with the first show, they may be interested in adding another USAC-EC race date later in the 2018 season. Maybe during the running of the Gobbler?

This is the 10th race added to the USAC-EC 2018 season. The Bridgeport Speedway race date is the only race that still needs it’s date to be determined yet. Please keep checking www.usaceastcoastsprintcars.com for the always up to date 2018 schedule.
