The brand new RUSH Sprints, who will be participating in their own five-race point series will be joined by 4 Cylinder Cars and Stiller Motorsports UTV Races.
The RUSH Sprint Cars will be embarking on their first season and should produce action packed racing while helping develop the future stars of the area Sprint Car scene. The RUSH Sprint Cars will be racing at select speedways in 2018 and have a solid schedule with Lernerville playing host to at least nine of them this season.
The RUSH Sprint Cars will feature traditional, non-wing Sprint Cars utilizing the cost-effective Pace Performance GM 602 Crate Sprint Car engine package developed by Pace’s Director of Circle Track Engine Development, Don Blackshear, $135 sealed, spec RUSH Bilstein Bandits Shocks, affordable spec Hoosier Tires, and RUSH “Visual” Methanol spec fuel produced by Insinger Performance, a Sunoco Race Fuel Distributor. The response since the division’s initial announcement in February has been tremendous with racers from various backgrounds and levels of experience showing interest.
Cars of the four cylinder variety normally grace the clay at Lernerville just once a year at the annual Steel City Stampede until now. And they’ll be a welcome addition to the Wednesday night card as they bring their three wide action to the Action Track and will also be participating in a point fund to sweeten the pot for area drivers.
The Stiller Motorsports UTV’s made their debut in 2017 on our annual Summer Vacation and Back to School events and delighted fans with their wide open racing. They’ll be bringing their thrilling brand to the festivities where fans will be able to get to know the riders and develop favorites while putting on a show for all in attendance.
