Northeast Fall Nationals Arrives This Weekend At Brockville

Story By: JIM CLARKE / BROCKVILLE ONTARIO SPEEDWAY – BROCKVILLE, ONT – They’re about to light the fuse. Its just a matter of time before fans in Eastern Ontario will see the biggest motorsports event of the year.

The 1000 Islands RV DIRTcar Northeast Fall Nationals hits the track Friday and Saturday, October 13th and 14th at Brockville Ontario Speedway. 8 exciting divisions of action will tackle the popular 3/8th mile clay oval on Temperance Lake Road for the 8th edition of the fall festival of speed.

Opening night features the Big Block Mods, the Mr. DIRTcar championship finals for the Sportsman-Modified and Pro Stock divisions; plus, Outlaw Vintage Modifieds with racing starting at 7:00. The Sportsman teams will also run the final event in this year’s Ogilvie’s Auto & Fleet Quad Crown Series during the Friday night show. Saturday has the 358 Mod Super DIRTcar and Ogilvie’s Quad Crown finale, along with a 360 Sprint Car open event, Street Stocks and Mini Stocks. The green flag waves at 5:00.

“There will be plenty of excitement all weekend long,” said track owner and promoter Paul Kirkland. “This is our largest show of the schedule and we want it to be a memorable one for the fans.”

Come early, visit the vendors and meet reps from Loud & Dirty Apparel and Inside Track Motorsports News in the Fan Zone. There’ll be live entertainment on the turn 4 stage from 2:00 ‘til 4:00 Friday with Chuck D’Aoust of Runaway Cowboys and Saturday with local fan favourites Ambush; plus, mechanical bull riding trials from noon ‘til 4:00 both days. Stay late for live music with Healy & Orr, Friday night at 10:00 and the Fall Nationals ‘After the Races’ Party and Bonfire with the Will Scott Trio Saturday night at 10:00 on the Turn 4 Stage.
