Brent Marks Finishes Eighth In World Of Outlaws Sprint Event At Ransomville

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BRENT MARKS RACING – MYERSTOWN, PA – Continuing a trend of recent top-ten performances, World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year contender, Brent Marks, recorded his 21st top-ten finish of the 2017 season on Monday evening, finishing eighth at the Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville, New York. Marks finished exactly where he started, qualifying for the 30-lap main event by finishing second during his respective heat race.

“We hope to keep this going the rest of the season,” Marks explained, pilot of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19. “We have a pretty big trip coming up. Our plan is to keep this momentum rolling right through Charlotte.”

Despite his first, full season with the Greatest Show On Dirt quickly coming to a close, Brent Marks still has a lot left on his plate and will travel back to the Midwest for a four-pack of events over the course of the next two weeks; three in Kansas and two in the state of Oklahoma. Marks will kick off his final trek through the Midwest with a visit to the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, on Friday, October 20. The “Myerstown Missile” will also visit the Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma, on Saturday, October 21, followed by a doubleheader at Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas, on Friday and Saturday, October 27-28.
