Michael Looks Forward To return To Wayne County Speedway October 7th

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / MICHAEL MOTORSPORTS – FREMONT, OH – Arctic Cat All Star sophomore, T.J. Michael, will have the opportunity to revisit Wayne County (OH) Speedway before his season comes to close. The Orrville oval has been kind to the Plano, Texas, native during the course of his young career, recently acknowledging it as one of his favorites on the tour.

“We feel really comfortable there,” Michael said regarding Wayne County Speedway. “We only have three races left on our All Star schedule this season. Knowing that one of them is at Wayne County Speedway is motivating. The top-five has eluded us so far this year, but I think we can make it happen on October 7.”

Each occurring during Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions competition, T.J. Michael has made four starts at Wayne County Speedway in 2017, all four resulting in main event starts. Highlighting his four visits was an impressive charge from 26th to finish 12th during Ohio Sprint Speedweek presented by Cometic Gasket in mid-June. There were nearly 60 cars entered for the $5,000-to-win program.

In addition, Michael earned two dash appearances during Arctic Cat All Star competition at Wayne County Speedway in 2017, one of which during the $10,000-to-win, Pete Jacobs Memorial over Labor Day weekend.

During recent Arctic Cat All Star competition, Michael entered the 36th Annual 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Unfortunately, mechanical issues forced the Plano, Texas, native to retire early from the evening’s consolation B-main.
