Double Big Block Modified Features At Brewerton Friday
Story By: DAVE MEDLER / BREWERTON SPEEDWAY – BREWERTON, NY – With the 2017 Brewerton Speedway Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified Champion being crowned on Friday, September 1, points will take on double importance with a pair of 35 lap features this Friday, August 18. The holdover feature from August 4 and the regularly scheduled feature to be run.
Coming into Friday night one single point separates Larry Wight and Billy Decker in the Big Block Modifieds in the battle for the title. Just 24 points out of first and ready to pounce on any mistakes by the top-two is defending track champion Jimmy Phelps.
Also on the race card Friday, August 18 presented by marketing partner NAPA Auto Parts is the SUNY Canton Sportsman, Firehouse Subs Mod Lites and JB Logging & Firewood 4-Cylinders.
The Home Depot will be on hand with fun activities for the Jr. fans with the Kids Workshop.
Adult grandstand admission is $15 with everyone 18 years old and younger FREE. Pit is $27 participant, $30 nonparticipant.
Grandstands open at 5:30 with racing at 7:30.
