Central PA Next For “Mad Max” Stambaugh

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / RAY MARSHALL MOTORSPORTS – ELIDA, OH – In hopes of picking up right where he left off, “Mad Max” Stambaugh will return to Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions competition on Thursday evening, August 17, at the Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania; the first of four consecutive Arctic Cat All Star events in Central Pennsylvania.

“Central Pennsylvania is tough, but we won’t let that discourage us,” Stambaugh said. “We know what we are up against. We have nothing to lose if you really think about it. Our plan is to go out there and race as hard as we can on all four nights. If anything, this is a perfect opportunity for us to learn from the best.”

After his visit to Grandview Speedway, Stambaugh will continue his Central Pennsylvania visit with stops at Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway and Susquehanna Speedway on August 18-20. All four events in Posse Country will award $5,000 top prizes.

Stambaugh, who finished ninth during his last Arctic Cat All Star outing at Lebanon Valley (NY) Speedway, will enter the four race stretch fourth in the current Series driver championship, earning six top-ten finishes to date. In addition, the pilot of the Ray Marshall Motorsports/Buckeye Machine Fabricators, Inc./Fastenal of Kenton/No. 33M is the leading Arctic Cat All Star Rookie of the Year contender, on top of the race by over 200 markers.
