Story By: CLAYTON JOHNS / KERR MOTORSPORTS – PICTON, ONT – Tim Kerr returned to the seat of his Village Variety/Hubert Kerr Construction No.07 Big-Block Modified last weekend and earned a top-10 finish at Brewerton Speedway on Friday night. Kerr, who missed the previous week of competition due to illness, was excited to be back in the car.
In his first night back in the car, Kerr drove to a sixth-place result at Brewerton Speedway and was knocking on the door of a top-five.
“It was a nice to have a good run,” Kerr said. “The biggest thing for us right now is getting the gearing down with this engine combination.”
The next night, he finished 14th at Fulton Speedway.
“Being involved in a wreck on lap two hurt us on Saturday night,” Kerr explained. “I think we were missing a little bit but we will get it.”
Kerr will return to action again next weekend at Brewerton Speedway on Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22 at Fulton Speedway.
