Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour Launches Saturday At Caprara’s Can Am

Story By: JEFF CIGLICH / DIRT MODIFIED NOSTALGIA TOUR – LAFARGEVILLE, NY – The Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour series will kick off it’s four race schedule this Saturday, July 8th at Caprara’s Can Am Motorsports Park in LaFargeville, NY.

Courtesy of the Mohawk Valley Community College’s Airframe & Powerplant Technology there will be a $150.00 purse paying the top three Nostalgia division cars $75.00, $50.00 and $25.00 respectively. The Modified winner will also receive $75.00 and there will be a $35.00 hard luck award.

Heat winners will receive $30.00 for their efforts from Number One Speed in Watertown, NY, the Hard Charger will get $25.00 from Predator Automotive out of Cardinal, On. There is also $160.00 in lap money up for grabs during the 15 lap feature go.

Expected entries from Ontario and across New York State include Paul Billings, Rob Casti, David Charczuk, Nathan Berry, John Stanley and Tyler Reynolds in the Modified division while Justin Saunders, Tim Hegarty, Darrell Wilson, Matt Larrivee and Tim Charland are expected to battle for the Nostalgia division honors.

The green flag drops a 6 pm.
