Miley Shows Success During Speedweek; New Car Set For Debut
Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / JARED MILEY RACING – PITTSBURGH, PA – Jared Miley represented his Western Pennsylvania fan base well during his partial campaign with the Appalachian Mountain Dirt Late Model Speedweek Series, scoring back-to-back top-five finishes, fifth and fourth, at Susquehanna Speedway and Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway on June 1-2, respectively. In addition, Miley also scored a fast time award during his Appalachian Mountain Dirt Late Model Speedweek march, bettering 43 cars at Susquehanna Speedway on Thursday, June 1.
Miley, a former super late model champion at Lernerville Speedway and Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, will now attempt to use his recent momentum surge to his advantage, actively preparing for Firecracker 100 competition at Lernerville Speedway with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series.
“I think we had a pretty good trip out east,” Jared Miley explained. “A few nights could have went a little differently, but we’ll take the bad with the good and move forward. We enjoyed ourselves. Now, we have something even bigger to prepare for.”
Before making the short trip to Sarver for the annual Firecracker 100 in two weeks, “The Jet” Jared Miley, pilot of the Jared Miley Racing/Jay’s Auto Wrecking/Keystone Alliance Insurance Services, LLC of Spring City/Maloney’s Classic Cars of Meadville/Junior’s Cores & Recycling/Colussy Chevrolet/Octane Graphix/Brougher’s Machine Shop/No. H1, will debut a brand new Rocket Chassis during local action at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 10. The annual Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway will ignite on Thursday, June 22.
